Abstract: With the continuous development of the information age, WEB technology update iterations are getting faster and faster.In today’s social conditions, WEB technology is developing towards high performance, fast response, high fidelity, high efficiency and security.Currently, mainstream chat rooms are mostly based on the traditional TCP protocol architecture of HTTP 1.0 or HTTP 1.1.The efficiency of the protocol is relatively low, the resource occupancy rate is high, and the efficiency of concurrent connection is unstable. Taking a web chat room capable of instant messaging as an example, through the research on the scalability of HTTP1.1, the use of WebSocket and optimization suggestions are explained and discussed in depth.At the same time, part of the transfer structure is optimized to improve resource utilization and operational efficiency.
